In conversation with Frank Gardner, George Butler and Sir Timothy Ackroyd
Frank Gardner, BBC Security Correspondent interviews George Butler about his time spent drawing in Syria. The drawings, done in situ, some of which will be for sale on the night are of refugees and children; field hospitals and old battle scenes describe a different perspective of a horrific war through a once common but now unusual method.
Sir Timothy Ackroyd will be reading several pieces; poems and prose in conjunction with the work. Asking the question whether modern day war reporting gives us an accurate account of the situation?
